WD3106 is the reading head for proximity badges used for vehicles Access Control; it is connected to the multi-head central units WD3000 or ISOClass in EIA RS485.
WD3106 is specifically designed for long-distance Access Control of moving vehicles (e.g parking lots in business areas).
